My first view into color psychology was on a film set. Specifically, "Windtalkers". That's the first movie I remember really noticing all of the color.
I was walking through acres + acres of land in Oahu, Hawaii, awestruck at this living battlefield jumping right out of history.
Then it was "Mission Impossible II", seeing pops of red + black...the silver glinting off of the knife getting a milometer from Tom Cruise's eye.
I had to learn more.
So I picked up a few film books, seeing how purple, green, yellow + orange impacted an audience emotionally onscreen.
